About "Vic"
Victoria "Vic" grew up in rural Kansas where she developed an appreciation for nature, art and music. She has degrees from Washburn University, Bethel College and the University of Kansas. Over the years, her love of art and music has become integrated in to her therapy practice. While living on the east coast she earned a post graduate Fellowship with the Association of Music and Imagery. Vic is also Rostered with the Medical University of South Carolina in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is a Fellow of the Association of Music and Imagery, trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC).
She is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social worker and is in private practice in Lawrence, Kansas. She has over 30 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, families, groups and organizations to facilitate successful transformation and growth. She has an extensive background providing and implementing services across the spectrum of wellness and clinical care, including work with organizations and schools.
